Screening and diagnostic mammograms,
which are provided with the latest low dose mammography equipment
and interpreted by a dedicated breast radiologist.
The ICAD second look computer aided
diagnostic equipment is used to convert your films to a
digital image. Sophisticated software then analyzes the digital
image of your mammogram to help detect subtle abnormalities. This
cutting edge technology reduces the number of breast cancers that
are missed.
On site breast ultrasound to detect
breast cancers that may not be seen on the mammogram. If an
ultrasound guided breast biopsy is needed, the procedure is done
using the newest vacuum assisted biopsy device. This allows the
infusion of a local anesthetic and minimizes patient discomfort.
